The Project consists in the construction of a 37 km road between Khombole, Touba Toul and Tivaoune, 70km to the North of Dakar. The road measures 10,2m wide made up of two single carriageways 3,6m wide each with 1,5m hard shoulders. Road surface is made up of a 25 cm thick stabilized layer with cement on site together with a 5 cm conglomerate layer. 13 transversal drainage works have been carried out with concrete frames made on site with the following dimensions: 1x1, 1x2 y 4x2. A 10 km long, 9 mtr wide and 15 cm deep laterite track has been constructed in order to intercommunicate nearby villages. Additionally, 3 water wells have been drilled and constructed to supply water to nearby villages, 170m, 270m and 330m in depth respectively. With regards to the Tivaoune through road, the roadway has been widened to four lanes measuring 3.6 meters wide with 1.5 meter wide hard shoulders. The project includes the placing of 100 street lights.
